The GopherEsports competitive program is strongly supported by Gopher Athletics. Program leadership meets on a weekly basis and is bolstered by the assistance of a student esports specialist.
We currently offer school support for the following game titles: Super Smash Ultimate, Rocket League, and Valorant. Consideration to support additional or other game titles is evaluated on a year to year basis while taking into account student demand and number of participants.
For the 2025-2026 competitive season, GopherEsports teams will compete in the Big Esports Conference (BEC) as well as the Power Esports Conference (PEC).
